On a wild stream that has been dry for a long time, I bring my metal detector and begin searching through layers of sand and gravel to collect buried metal objects and scrap left behind by time. What starts as weak signals and small, ordinary finds slowly turns into something far more intriguing.
With every sound from the metal detector, my excitement grows. Beneath this dry streambed, there seem to be objects that are heavier, older, and far more unusual than simple scrap metal, making me suspect that I may be getting closer to a hidden treasure forgotten for generations.
As I dig deeper, more strange signs appear, pushing me to believe that this treasure may have been buried under the riverbed long ago. Is this just coincidence, or am I standing above the treasure that no one has discovered until now?
