An der Gemarkungsgrenze zu Stuttgart kam es am 4. April 1995, kurz nach 14 Uhr, auf dem Fellbacher Fruchthof zu einem Großbrand. Die Feuerwehr Stuttgart wurde von den Fellbacher Kollegen schnell zur Unterstützung angefordert - sie war ohnehin durch die Vielzahl an Anrufen in diese Richtung unterwegs, da anfangs nicht klar war, wo genau der Brand war.
Nach rund 40 Minuten war der Brand bereits unter Kontrolle. Der Sachschaden betrug über eine Million DM.
On the district border to Stuttgart it came on the 4th April, 1995, shortly after 14 o'clock, on the Fellbach fruit court to a big blaze. The Stuttgart FD was requested by Fellbach colleagues for support - Stuttgart FD was on the run anyway by the huge number of phone calls in this direction, because in the beginning was not clear where exactly the fire was.
After about 40 minutes the fire was already under control. The damage to property amounted more than a million DM.
