Learn how to do a floral Ebru swirl on cold process soap.
The batter is used when it has just reached stable emulsion - it needs to be very fluid for this technique.
The base swirl (the white and yellow poured into the cream base) is poured from varying heights to give interest within the base as well as to give the fine Taiwan swirl on the surface.
Using a thin spatula blade, rather than a chopstick, allows one to achieve a very fine swirl.
Speed is of the essence with this technique as the final design should be uniformly flat with the rest of the base swirl, rather than standing above it.
