Hello My Beautiful People! Welcome back! I have been really enjoying exploring these wonderful Split Cup Straight Pours inspired by my dear friend Fiona of Fiona Art. Today I want to see if I can create one with some negative space! Let's get started!

There is NO Silicone
in Any of My Paint.


I am using a 16 oz Split Cup from the PaintPourStore.com .

My thought process was to NOT fill my split cup all the way, but to use only 12 oz of paint and then use a flow extender to create negative space.

That did not quite work as I anticipated, but I did like the composition... I just felt like there was too much of the champagne color.

After some deliberation I decided to pour again. This time I fill the two outer chambers both with the Bordeaux Red, and skip the Champagne. This gave the illusion of Negative Space, which I really liked.

I am intrigued by this and will probably continue to explore this Split Cup Straight Pour with Negative Space idea.. I would love to know what you think!

Please let me know in the comments if you preferred the first pour or the second pour.. I'd love to know how you feel about negative space in general; good or bad?
