This setting doesn't exist in Inventor 2015 and earlier. Quick tip, a new setting in Inventor 2016 let's you lighten the load on screen and hopefully make your Inventor run that little bit smoother. Disable Automatic Refinement for large assemblies in Inventor 2016.
