System of Particles and Rotational Motion Class 11: Perpendicular Axis Theorem | NEET 2022 Exam

This is an application of perpendicular axis theorem. Important conditions are discussed that are to be followed while applying this theorem. This theorem states that the M.O.I of a 2-dimensional object about an axis passing perpendicularly from it is equal to the sum of the M.O.I of the object about 2 mutually perpendicular axes lying in the plane of the
object.
