The year is 1945. As the allies close in on Berlin a small team of German scientists flee to neutral Spain hoping the Caudillo will help them change the outcome of the war. Instead, however, the Spanish dictator seizes the technology for Spain and tasks his military to make ready to prevent the disaster that was the Spanish-American war.

Almirante, You have been given command of the "La gloria de españa", an experimental light cruiser, that has just been installed with a top secret time wormhole generator. Your orders are to travel back in time to July 1898 and intercept the American squadron on its way to Spanish Cuba and sink as many transports as possible to prevent the American capture of Cuba. Further, you must attempt to damage or sink as many of the American warships as possible prior to making your escape in order to hopefully change the outcome of the "Battle of Santiago de Cuba".

To this end you have been given total control of the outfitting of your vessel with the latest technology available. However, the wormhole generator installed weighs a considerable amount and can only transport up a to 10,000 ton vessel so your base design must not exceed 9,500 tons.

Why won't you play War Thunder?
▪️ I raged at getting sniped by tanks that I could never see. Also nonsense like turning bushes off that helps you perform better. That seems like a terrible design to me. War Thunder also had drama several years ago about the CEO calling the fanbase to help strike down channels or using copyright strikes to eliminate channels entirely. That is such abuse of power and dictatorial nonsense that I refuse to play a game created by such a company.

Will you play Steel Division?
