Night 1 in Vancouver BC Canada, 2024 Dec.6

To keep in line with the others, I will probably rename this one to be 'secret concert 26' sooner or later, but for now it is simply 'row 13' because of how I accidentally got there.

I've been watching the stubhub listings for months, trying to get something in the first few rows but specifically in front of the center diamond. Everything that showed up was too expensive for me. Finally 2 days before the night 1 show, a 2nd row ticket appeared in section A9, and within my price goal. Perfect! So I rushed to get that order in but stubhub glitched and swapped a different ticket into my shopping cart! I didn't notice this until the sale was final. I called stubhub and they were able to replicate/confirm the glitch (*whew*) and then offered me to cancel the order for a full refund. Or, if I would agree to keep the ticket then they would give me a 25% coupon toward future purchases (approx $900USD). I almost said no, but then reluctantly agreed to keep the wrong ticket.

It was after I related the story to my daughter that they pointed out how 13 is a particularly significant number to this artist. Well of course I had heard this but I did not connect the dots with 'row 13' until my daughter did it for me! (Somehow that made me feel a little better about my accidental purchase 🙂)

Apologies for missing part of the last song 🙁 but my battery died during Karma, just before the finish line! I did go into the show with battery at 100% but burned through a chunk of it by recording the opening act. I was fully confident that I had enough battery power to record both, but obviously I was wrong. (Don't worry... I didn't repeat the mistake 😉)
