I made this video to commemorate my path from SPL bass car beginner to the 2017 Undefeated NADBL Rookie Champion & 2017 NADBL Rookie of The Year. It took a lot of hard work, self education and the knowledge and help of friends and veteran bass competitors, but I managed to go from a 137.3dB my 1st time ever on a decibel meter to a NADBL rookie class record breaking score of 150.4dB
I started out with two Rockford Fosgate Power DVC 15's in my jeep cherokee in a sealed enclosure powered by a single Rockford Fosgate 800a2 amplifier at 2 ohms mono and from there grew to a versatile ported or sealed enclosure with those same 15's powered by two 800a2 amps running at 2 ohms mono each and then swapping out the two 800a2's for two Power 1100a2 amps, adding an upgraded 300a Ohio Generator alternator and rear battery and finally swapping out the Rockford 15's for two Sundown zv3 15's which allowed me to wire the two 1100a2 amps down to 1 ohm mono each for burps on the meter.
