EU leaders arrive in Brussels to try to agree on the release of €210bn to help fund Ukraine's war with Russia.
Many leaders within the bloc want to use tens of billions of euros of frozen Russian assets to help raise a loan for Ukraine for the next two years.
But some members have voiced opposition to doing so in the past.
Before the meeting, Sky's Europe correspondent Alistair Bunkall told Mornings presenters Sophy Ridge and Wilfred Frost:
"If they are successful and they do find an agreement and they do get that money to Ukraine, not only would it allow Ukraine to continue fighting, it will really give the EU certainly a stronger hand in negotiations."
"If they are largely funding Ukraine, it will be a strong message to Vladimir Putin that Europe is united, not divided."
"And it will be a pretty strong message to Donald Trump as well, who has been utterly disparaging of Europe in recent days and weeks, that actually Europe does have some teeth.
"So there is a lot riding on today."
