Here's a look at a Compaq Presario V6000 laptop I had gotten from a nearby neighbor. She had apparently gotten this machine refurbished. This machine is the Compaq version of the infamous HP Pavilion DV6000 laptop that was known for serious reliability problems. This one still comes on and boots up, yet the hard drive is about to quit and the LCD CCFL backlight is dim.
