This month’s 11 in 11 talk features Prof Tim Meyer. Prof Meyer is the Professor for Sports and Preventative Medicine at the Saarland University in Germany. He is also the Team Physician for the German National Team and was the Chief Medical Officer for the 2011 FIFA World Cup held in Germany. Prof Meyer is the Co-Editor of Science and Medicine in Football, a dedicated Football Medicine journal. In this talk Tim will provide an overview of the state of play of Football Medicine research and give some insights into what he considers to be key current and future research topics.
