Review of the Namiki Pilot Emperor Goldfish fountain pen, one of the most recognisable and expensive Japanese production (i.e. not limited edition) pens around at US$15,000. The pen uses dozens of layers of urushi lacquer and maki-e to build up the iconic goldfish images. It is make by Seiki Chida, using Shishiai-Togidashi-Taka Maki-e, and the model number is FNFV-80M-KG.
