Wawa, On is home to the famous Goose Statue and is located beside the world’s largest freshwater lake, Lake Superior. Our community’s rich heritage has its earliest beginnings with the Indigenous Peoples and the fur trade, rich in maritime history, mining and logging. We play host to the Wawa Ice Fishing Derby, Winter Carnival, the Wawa Music Festival and much more.
