705: The Wolf Is In Your Bed of Snow (day 2, NANCY DREW: WHITE WOLF OF ICICLE CREEK)

Tonight, in between bouts of me working myself up over high-stakes kitchen work, Nancy makes makes a lot of phone calls and whines about the cold a lot. She finally finds the hiding place of Yanni, who talks about the cuthroat sport of cross-country skiing, and she keeps thrashing that dragon-blooded hacker child, The Snow Princess, to learn the secret of staying out in the cold. For those of you who like thrills and danger, an attempt is made on Nancy's life, wolves are described killing and eating people alive, and I successfully crash and blow up a snowmobile.

The wolf reappears, and Nancy begins to wonder if he isn't actually trying to eat her. Maybe he's not even the mad bomber at all? Wolf-girl, meanwhile, gets herself in a mess of trouble, then dumps some lupine propaganda on Nancy. We still haven't relinquished our theory that she's a werewolf, that the White Wolf is her brother (and possibly also Trapper Dan, and that she chews on a stolen dinosaur bone when nobody's looking!

Also, we get our first look at the fox and the geese (chat assures me I'll come to loathe them), receive an annoying fax, and decide that the mighty sturgeon Nama has a terrible memory. That's why Nancy keeps feeding him his lines for the day!
