How to Save iOS 11.4.1 SHSH2 Blobs For Future DOWNGRADE / JAILBREAK (And Why You Should)

In today's video, I am going to show you how to save the SHSH2 blobs for #Downgrade and #Jailbreak in the future for #iOS 11.4.1. iOS 11.4.1 is currently signed and you can save the SHSH2 tickets for it. You would probably ask me why would you save SHSH2 blobs for a version that is signed especially since there is currently no jailbreak for iOS 11.4.1. Well, the answer is simple: futureproofing. Downgrades on iOS are only possible if you have previously saved the SHSH2 blobs. These blobs are unique per device so you cannot use somebody else's blobs to perform the downgrade.

It has already become a pattern to get jailbreaks and jailbreak vulnerabilities publicly released months after the iOS version in the cause has stopped signing. If this pattern continues, we may get an iOS 11.4.1 Jailbreak by the time iOS 12 is out which means that by that time iOS 11.4.1 will no longer be signed. If you are forced to update to iOS 12 due to various reasons in meantime but you have the blobs saved, given a kernel exploit you will be able to get back to 11.4.1 long after it was unsigned and jailbreak. Otherwise, downgrades would not be possible.

It's always a good idea to save the SHSH2 blobs no matter what iOS version is signed. You don't need to update your phone to the iOS version you want to save the blobs for.
