Day 029 - Simpson Desert - QAA Line to Birdsville
This adventure took place in the latter half of 2024. Come with me on a zig-zag tour of the country. An inside lap, an outside lap, the inner and outer corners, the extremities, the highs and the lows, the good roads, the bad roads and sometimes not even any roads at all, like today!
Today we start on the Western end of the QAA Line in the Simpson Desert and make our way across to Birdsville
We saw some dingoes on the side of the track
Navigated the Eyre creek crossing
But then got blocked by the lake preceding Big Red
In the end we made it to Birdsville though
