Model - Painter Exchange - Wednesday, Week 61 (14/04/2021)

Day three! We continue our exploration of what it means to begin our work from small relationships, with the hopes of eventually configuring an idea of the whole. Today wouldn't have been possible without the help of the awesome Adrian @modbodadrian. He was extremely generous and sent me some photos to work with and I couldn't have been happier to tackle painting the miracle that is the human body again. In Adrian's case the miracle is that his body is a wonderfully powerful mechanical tool, in my case the miracle is that I've only blinded a small number of people after they accidentally saw me shirtless in the wild. I met Adrian in one of my London workshops and he's a brilliant model. This is a good opportunity to remember the human beings that work as life models and reflect on the immense effect that the pandemic had on their jobs. Throughout the years I've been blessed to have worked with very many wonderful human beings that choose to express through their bodies. Our education depended on their willingness to share their knowledge of their bodies. We simply would not be if it wasn't for them.
