A visit to the UK in May 2025 with the primary purpose to attend and participate in a Life Celebration for our Mum, Betty, following her passing in January. This was in place of a formal funeral near her nursing home in Herefordshire which most of her family and friends would have been unable to attend.
Once in England, naturally we used the remainder of our trip to catch up with other members of the family and friends, do some hiking, sight-seeing and exploring and making use of some wonderful May weather in the UK, basing ourselves for much of the time in Carnforth Lancs, a place where we'd never spent much time before, but which proved a great base for many walks and excursions.
