This is a review of the Lyra Rembrandt 24 set of polycolor pencils. I was hoping to find an alternative to Faber Castell Polychromos pencils that might be a little less expensive. These are priced similarly to Prismacolor Premier colored pencils. In the end, I don't think these are a suitable alternative to either Prismacolor Premier or Polychromos. My main issues were inconsistencies in the texture of the leads. Some leads seemed quite dry relative to the other leads. I also found they don't quite layer and blend as well as other artist grade pencils. Still, not a bad pencil overall.
