These speakers are something special. My Atom drives the top 3 seas excel drivers and also feeds a hypex 250 watt plate amp that drives a downward firing 12” bass driver giving extremely clean, fast, bass.
These speakers provide extremely low levels of distortion even at really loud levels. The bass is adjustable and can be tailored to room conditions using the hypex filter design software. The Atom does what it does and provides a nice detailed very musical sounding 40 watts.
