OXBO BH100: Green Bean Harvesting Machine That Makes Me Thousands

The green bean harvest is officially underway! In this video, I’m putting the OXBO BH100 green bean harvesting machine to work — a tool that has saved me hundreds of hours and made me tens of thousands of dollars. I’ll walk you through how this incredible machine works, then show it in action as we harvest our first green beans of the season.

This machine can harvest 1–3 bushels per minute, depending on the field, and by selling them in one lb. quart baskets at $3.00 per basket, we can gross $75 per bushel. That kind of speed and return is what makes this tool such a game changer for small farms like ours.

I purchased this machine in 2011 for $33,000 USD and in 2024 a new BH100 was listing for $56,000...boy am I glad I purchased mine when I did.

After the harvest, we load the beans up and head back to the barn for washing and packing (with some b-roll from last year). I wrap things up in the next patch, talking about some of our weed issues and showing what’s to come.
