This video runs through an example of analyzing what is happening in an RC circuit when the capacitor is discharging. The specific equations for voltage and current are determined based on the component values and the starting voltage of the capacitor. Then the values for voltage and current are calculated for a number of important points (hint: those points are all related to tau). Finally, the two equations are graphed to show how voltage and current change over time.
