Scream in the Dark | Sally Dark Rides

Crazy Clown, a funny yet sinister animatronic character, greets visitors at the entrance to the attraction. In Thailand, he welcomes and taunts visitors in both English and Thai. Horrible Harry (a ‘live’ ventriloquist’s dummy) is waiting for guests as they enter the ride. The creepy little character urges riders to “Scream! Scream! Scream!” to score points. There are also over 100 lighted targets in the ride to shoot at. All the scores are shown on in-car scoring consoles. Crazy Clown also appears as a frightening apparition (a Fog Screen image). You ride through as his laughter rings in your ears. An array of strange and scary clowns surprise visitors throughout Scream in the Dark! Watch out…you never know what’s waiting around the corner! The More You Scream, The More You Score!

Something completely new and different (designed with a nostalgic nod to the classic Laff-in-the-Dark rides), this thrilling fun-filled scream fest is part of the Ripley’s entertainment zone attractions at one of Thailand’s most popular malls. With an array of scary, crazy circus clowns, skeletons, zombies, a multi-headed attack dog and more, Scream in the Dark! is guaranteed to make you scream (when you’re not laughing!). In fact, your screaming is measured by an advanced targeting system incorporating new technology: a Scream-O-Meter. The Scream-O-Meter measures the intensity of riders’ screams… and the more you scream, the higher your score! The Scream-O-Meter. This amazing technical wizardry registers the decibel level of guests’ screams, in addition to actual target hits, and awards bonus points. Scream in the Dark! is a fun ride experience for kids and adults alike. And it’s one ride where the kids can easily out-score the adults!
