Using the idea of “Walmartification,” we explores how efficiency, and managerial success can quietly replace Christ-centered, people-first systems. The loss of meaningful common consent, the rise of policy over revelation, and the consequences of treating members as resources rather than souls.
It ultimately argues that the true strength of the Church has never been its organization, wealth, or leadership credentials, but ordinary, uncredentialed Saints doing small and simple things in faith. Drawing on scripture, it contrasts institutional success with divine purpose and calls for a return to a gospel that prioritizes souls over systems, people over process, and Zion over efficiency.
