How I Plan Our Homeschool Day: THIS CHANGED THINGS!

Welcome back to Simply Living It! Today I am sharing with you how I plan and prepare for our homeschool day. This may look very different compared to what you are used to but this works for our family!

When it comes to life in general, I love going with the flow. I recently discovered that that might not work so well for my boys! LESSON LEARNED! I now have a simple system to keep things in check and to help perepare myeslf and my boys for our homeschool flow. We don't have a strict schedule and threw those away a LONG time ago! What we do have is an outline for my boys to refernece and tackle as well as an accounatbility measure. I leanrned the hard way that my boys are not like me when it comes to lists! They love having their homeschool duties laid out before them and to get to cross them off once complete. This helps me stay on ttrack, it helps my boys to grow a little more independence all while also keeping record in our homeschool! As far as preparing and planning our homeschool field trips, experiements and family subjects...that looks totally different. For independant subjects, this has changed everything!
