South Central Pennsylvania's Cultic returns with Lore, their heaviest and most experimental release yet. Blending extreme doom, first-wave black metal, and elements of punk with churning riffs, eerie synths, pounding war drums and bellowing horns, this album plunges into a twisted world of dark fantasy and sinister encounters.

Cultic is known for their dark fantasy themes and world-building approach. Lore expands that mythos with tracks that evoke grim characters like the Nomad, the Crone, and the Fool, each embodied through thunderous riffs, eerie atmospheres, and pounding war drums.

The album’s artwork, created by drummer Rebecca Magar, completes a visual trilogy that began with High Command and Of Fire and Sorcery, forming a triptych that reflects the evolution of Cultic’s mythos.
