Michelle - The Beatles (Ian & Alex)

We recorded this video a few years ago, when we were figuring out how to recreate 'Michelle'.
The original Beatles ballad has a nostalgic aura that we wanted to expand, so we changed the harmony and colored those emotions with new chords. We also wanted to breathe new life into it by giving it a different energy, so we changed the pulse from a 4/4 meter to a triple pulse inspired by the flamenco 'bulería' form.
