In this episode work continues on the front subframe. The engine arrived and had to install N54 engine brackets to clear the steering rack input shaft. This also makes it easier to mount it to the E46 subframe with the originale bushings. As the project is taking some turns it's hard to create content that is nice to watch. A lot of research and thinking is happening behind the scenes.
BMW E24 - 633CSI from 1978 Project:
I have some big plans for it. The car will be stripped all the way. N55 engine will be installed with more modern modules.
When it comes to the electrical system I'm planning on making it a "modern car";
Added parking sensors
Adding reverse camera
Adding heated and ventialtions seats system
Adding lumbar supports
Adding custom speakers system.
Upgrading the AC system
Different motor management system.
Possible digital screen for the instrument cluster etc.
The car will be a project when it's finished I will be enjoy driving it in the weekends and during road trips.
