More about the Panel ⤵️

Dr Melitta Hogarth is a Kamilaroi woman with almost 20 years of experience in all three of Queensland’s education system. Now, she is the Assistant Dean (Indigenous) and Senior Lecturer at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, and pursues her interests in the intersections of education, equity and social justice. Melitta completed her PhD at the Queensland University of Technology, where she critically analysed Indigenous education policy through the lens of the Coolangatta Statement.

Sharon Davis is a Bardi and Kija woman whose experiences in Aboriginal education drive her belief that an equitable, culturally and racially responsive education is key to life’s successes.
