Russia - Karasin On Nuclear Sales To Iran

Russia said on Thursday (4/5) it would push ahead with plans to
sell nuclear technology to Iran despite protests from the United
States. "Russia will not cancel its decision, even in the face of
threats from foreign countries," said Foreign Ministry spokesman
Grigory Karasin. "This is not a question of compromise." Karasin,
who was speaking at a news conference at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs Press Centre in Moscow, said Russia would do nothing to
help Teheran acquire nuclear weapons
