The basics work, and when you execute exercises properly, are creative, obsess about getting strong and train to absolute failure, you will grow like you've never grown before.
This is what my legs and biceps workout looked like today:
Cable bicep hammer curls 3x6-12
SS w/calf raises 3x6-12
Hamstring Curls 2x5-12
Smith Machine Squats 2x3-10
Single Leg Leg Press 2x10-15
Leg Extensions 1x10-20
Glute Ham Raise 2x6-12
Banded Adduction 2x10-20
Hip Thrusts 2x6-12
