It’s not at all uncommon to be frustrated with your snare drum sound and there’s a good chance it has something to do with the snare wire sound. There’s quite a bit of conversation on message boards and in comment sections about the use of gaff tape as a solution when applied to the snare side so we decided to explore and demonstrate a few different approaches for affecting the snare tone.
