A Week With Javier (4th Anniversary Update) || Hardest 12/12 Insane Darkness Completed

A completion of the all max mode of this fnaf fangame in the insane darkness gamemode with all of the hardest settings enabled. (Night starts at 9am instead of 12am, you only have 50 max power instead of 100, and the "agressive javier" and "darkness update" addons are enabled).

Somehow I beat this 2nd try. Yeah this challenge was WAY easier than I originally thought. I came into this expecting this to be a slightly harder or slightly easier version of hardest toonmare, but the gameplay changes in insane darkness make it much easier to manage your power and panic which ended up making this max mode not nearly as hard as hardest toonmare.

The only thing about this challenge that makes it harder than hardest toonmare is that its insanely dark, making it much harder to see.

Other changes include the door lights not working anymore, but in return you have a flashlight and you can even see if monarka or violet is at the doors without the door lights or flashlight due to how dark the building is.

There is also no shock in the cameras and you need to get rid of the destroyed by shining your light on him until he goes away when he is at his attacking camera. Same goes for evil javier if he is at either of your doors.

Bluerro is also slightly different, if he attacks in the cameras, instead of staring at him to make him go away, you need to shine your light on him until he leaves.

There is also a new insane darkness exclusive addon where your flashlight will have its own battery and it will run out very quickly when its turned on. To deal with this, light bulb icons will spawn in your office and you need to hover your mouse over them to collect them and this will fully recharge your flashlight. (Using the flashlight will still use up the building's power though).

The reason this challenge is way easier than hardest toonmare is because of a few things. Firstly only needing to shine your light on the destroyed instead of using the shock saves a ton of power in the long run.

But the main reason this challenge is much easier is because in the regular nights, using the door lights for the first time when monarka or violet is at the door will increase your panic by quite a bit. This is also technically the same here except you need to shine your flashlight on them for the first time when they are at the door to increase the panic.

Since the door lights are broken and you don't need to use the flashlight to see through the doors, this not only makes panic easier to manage since you can just close the door on monarka and violet without triggering the panic increase, but this also saves a lot of power since you wont need to waste that power using the door lights.

This makes the hardest part about hardest toonmare much easier and thus, makes this challenge really easy compared to hardest toonmare. Even the changes that make this challenge harder like needing to shine your light on bluerro in the cams and the new addon don't really make this that much harder.

Though with the new addon, a good strategy is to obtain the light bulbs only if necessary. The light bulbs will stay in its place forever so you can stack up on the light bulbs and you wont be running out of flashlight battery when doing this as you can just get one when you realize you're about to run out.

This was overall a more enjoyable experience than hardest toonmare since this felt a bit more fair. Hardest toonmare is still fun and felt fair but hardest 12/12 insane darkness feels like a nerfed version of hardest toonmare because of the power and panic being much easier to manage.
