Ever since I got my RD project on the road, I found myself dropping cells in the cheap lead acid batteries. I assumed at first I was buying crappy batteries, but I also had some weird electrical issues now and then with the bike stalling out and blowing out flasher relays. Now that I've swapped the front suspension and added a new gauge setup which reads out current voltage, I realized the bike was getting up to 15.7V while cruising. Trying out a new solid state voltage regulator/rectifier from economy cycle and seems to have done the trick!
