Recently I did the Yelbong river canyon trek. Being the only River Canyon in West Bengal, this place is one of the best and extreme treks in North Bengal I've ever been to. This offbeat kalimpong vlog will help you planning your trek and all the contact details you need, if you're planning a trip to Yelbong Kalimpong.

We did the Yelbong trek in the month of October, during the monsoon season. We were the first trekkers of the season and therefore had the best raw trekking experience (and I am not fit for trekking at all 🤓)

This place can easily be reached from Siliguri or new mal junction in 3 hours or so.

Currently there are 4 homestays in Yelbong. You can book an all inclusive 3 days 2 nights package for 3500 INR (Homestay + trek package). Or, if you prefer camping, it can be arranged too.
