An HMV 101 wind-up 'picnic' gramophone dating to the early 1930s, shown here playing 'Shine on Harvest Moon' by the 1930s American bandleader and vocalist Ed Kirkeby, performing under the pseudonym Ted Wallace and His Campus Boys.
This stylish gramophone was finished in black with contrasting chrome-plated elements and a polished wooden deck. To this day it plays well, with considerable volume and fabulous sound quality.
