DIY How to Install Shower Head - Delta In2ition also known as Intuition

Of course, these tips work for changing shower heads on other brands and the Delta In2ition shower head installation. The first step of your Delta In2ition shower head installation is the shower head removal of the old showerhead using channelocks, and replacing the shower arm as well, to mate to your new Delta Int2ition shower head. Then you can complete the process and change the shower head.

Now that that you know how to install shower head arms, we are ready to attach the shower head, which just screws onto the end of the established shower extension arm that you screwed into the wall.
We usually buy the Delta In2ition showerhead in chrome or brushed nickel, and this one is the 4-spray unit.

Next in this shower head installation video and before we install Delta shower heads, we unscrew the old showerhead, and remove the old shower arm pipe from the wall by inserting a screwdriver into it and rotating counter-clockwise to unscrew the pipe from the wall.

Now that the Delta shower head removal is complete, we continue with our new Delta in2ition shower head installation. Next, we remove the shower head extension arm and install the new shower head pipe. Install shower head pipe.

Be sure to add Teflon tape to the threaded ends of the shower head extension pipe before you install the shower head pipe into the shower wall.
