Ho slot car locking the front end of a total control racing chassis straight

locking the steering of the TCR chassis I used to cut the drag link steering rod whatever you want to call it in half take out a small piece then a line each wheel individually with a mini screw drilled in from underneath right next to the pickup shoes which is a pain in the ass. so you can lock it with a drill rod and leave the drill rod in as an axle but sometimes a screw post is in the way so I'm going to straighten it with the drill rod I cut down the the end of the drag link to have a flat side on each spindle I will put the drill rod in pack down in in on top of the spindle where I cut it with J-B weld and let it dry overnight and you could leave the drill rod in there if it doesn't interfere with anything I also made pack the area where the steering spindle is to hold it even more for shock resistant for when you hit the wall with the car and dig it out of the sheetrock it's bad enough sometimes you have to or all the time usually you relocate the axle and you have to glue in JB welding wire in another axle to allow for the wheel alignment not wheel alignment the tracking and all that at a weak link okay Torse checking out thanks like and sub have a blessed day
