A proper local pub that’s famously been labelled the North East’s most Christmassy pub and honestly, it’s easy to see why 🎄
From the moment we walked in, it felt like a home from home: friendly staff, cosy decorations, and a roaring fireplace keeping us warm.
Instead of a big main meal, we went for 3 small dishes:
Stone-baked garlic bread with mozzarella & caramelised onion
Onion rings
Hoisin duck loaded fries
The portions were huge… we were genuinely shocked 😅
Josh also couldn’t resist sneaking in a cookie dough for dessert 🍪
We were really surprised by the final bill... Amazing value and well worth it.
We can’t wait to come back in summer to try the outdoor area and beer garden ☀️🍺
