The mother of a man murdered in the Manchester Arena bombing has addressed a major conference in North Yorkshire which raised awareness of steps that can be taken to deter potential terrorist threats.
The event was held to increase understanding of the requirements set out in the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, also known as Martyn’s Law.
Martyn’s Law is named in memory of Martyn Hett, one of the 22 victims of the 2017 Manchester Arena attack.
