The Dingle Peninsula in Kerry, Ireland, is one of the most spectacularly beautiful places on the planet. If there is heaven on earth then it is here. The weather is not often this good and flying from the beach is a rare treat. The tide can be a problem too. Heights of 24,000 ft have been reached in the wave lift generated by the surrounding mountains. The aircraft is a Silent 2 Targa. The Dublin Gliding Club come here on a two week safari every autumn. Music is "Miserere mei, Deus" by Gregorio Allegri (1582 - 1652) sung by King's College Cambridge Choir.
