Sailing during the Corona pandemic is not easy. Still, I decided to explore the Atlantic Islands - Madeira, the Azores and the Canary Islands. So Blue Alligator left Portimao in the Algarve by the end of July with course to Madeira. We reached the Island after 4 days. What a beautiful place!
But the Atlantic experience was more important. On Blue Alligator I sailed the Biscay several times. But sailing out in the Atlantic is a very special feeling. You are entering a different world. All the rules we know from daily life fall behind. Sailing 500 nautical miles on a small sailing boat teaches you new rules about space and time.
