내세 After Life

감염되는 질병의 확산과 시스템의 붕괴, 사람들의 존재 불안과 불화가 빠르게 범람하고 있었다. 나는 도시에서 태어나고 자랐지만, 너무 많은 사람들이 모여있는 곳에서 생존할 수 없어 다른 곳에서 삶을 찾고자 했다. 정반대인 인구소멸 현상을 겪고 있는 지역에서 빈집을 활용하는 프로그램이 개발되고 있었고, 나는 '내세 마을'이란 곳에 머물 수 있었다. 내세에서 바라본 모든 것은 저마다의 속도와 방식으로 세계를 이루고 살아가고 있었는데, 나 또한 이곳에서 살아가며 나의 내세(After Life)를 떠올리는 시간을 가졌다. 이 영상은 그 시간이 담긴 느린 그림과 느린 음악이다.

The city I resided in was brimming with everything. Restlessness pervaded the people, infectious diseases had ravaged the systems, and disharmony seemed to infiltrate every aspect. Having been born and raised in a bustling metropolis, I could no longer thrive amidst such a massive crowd, and thus sought out a life elsewhere. Coincidentally, a program was being developed to repurpose vacant homes in depopulated areas, and I found solace in a place known as Afterlife Village. Everything I saw in the countryside had its own pace and way of living in the world, and I had the opportunity to live here and think about my afterlife. This video is a record of that time.
