The National Day Celebrations marking the 50th Anniversary of the Independence of Mauritius was celebrated at the Champ de Mars on the 12th March 2018.
The Chief Guest of Honour was Shri Ram Nath Kovind, President of the India, who was on a four-day State Visit in Mauritius from 11 to 14 March 2018.
His Excellency, Mr Kovind led a high-level delegation comprising, his Spouse, first lady Smt. Savita Kovind; the Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey and other eminent officials.
It was a great pleasure watching the show performed by the Indian Army, Mauritius Police Force, Special Mobile Force, MRA Customs, artists and participants of other institutions.
