රත්ගග පුංචි දඹදිව විහාරස්ථානයේදී පැවැත්වූ ගරා යක් ශාන්තිකර්මය.

මෙහි ඉතිහාස කතාව.

දඹදිව විසූ හේමදන්ත රජුට හා එම දේවියට දරුවන් දෙදෙනෙක් වූහ. ඒ දළ කුමරු හා ගිරි කුමාරිය නම් වූවාය. සොළොස් වියට පත් කුමාරයාට කුමාරියක් සේවුවද ඉන් පලක් නොවුණි. දළ කුමරු සරණපාවා ගැනීමට කිසිම කුමරියක් තෝරා ගත්තේ නැත. සෑම කුමරියක් කෙරෙහිම පිළිකුලක් දක්වන ලදී. මෙයට සමකාලීනව කතරගම ස්කන්ධ කුමරුගේ හා වල්ලිමාතාවගේ විවාහය යෙදුණි. එම මංගල්‍යයට වැදි රටට යාම සඳහා ස්කන්ධ කුමරු පත්තිනි මෑණියන්ගේ උපකාර පැතීය. එහි යාම සුදුසු දැයි පත්තිනි මැණියන් දිවැසින් බැලීය. මඟුල් මඩුවේ සතුන්ගේ ලේ හා මස් වර්ග පෙනිණ. මේ අපිරිසුදු බිමට පා නොතැබිය යුතු හෙයින් එම ස්ථාන පිරිසුදු කිරීමේ ක්‍රමයක් සෙවීය..

ඒ ගැන කල්පනා කිරීමේ දී දඹදිව දඹරුක මුල තවුස් දම් රකින දළ කුමරු දැකීය. ඔහු ඉදිරියේ පෙනී සිටි පත්තිනි මෑණියන්, කළ යුතු දෙය තවුසාට විස්තරකර දුන්, දළ කුමරු ගරායක් වෙස් ගෙන වැදි රට වල්ලිමාතාවගේ මඟුල් මඩුවට කඩා වැදුණේ ය. යක් වේසය දුටු වැද්දන් හිසලූලූ අත පලාගිය අතර වල්ලිමාතාව පමණක් මඟුල් මඩුවේ ඉතිරිවුණි. ගරායකු මඟුල් මඩුව වමතින් ගෙන හක්කේ තබාගෙන සියලු කෑම බීම කා දැමූ බව සඳහන්ය...
