Making a Chatelaine, Necklace, and Other Accessories for Historically Inspired Alice in Wonderland

This is the final video in my Historically Inspired Alice in Wonderland series! This week I made the gloves and bows for the shoes, as well as all of the jewelry. The necklace was kind of combination of a few various techniques with a choker as the base and some pearl strands and pendants. Rather than make whatever is going on the illustration under the center front of the bodice, I decided to make a chatelaine instead! I think it turned out much cuter and honestly was a lot easier than trying to do a bunch of stuff with gem stones. I'm super happy with how all the jewelry turned out and like.. B- satisfied with the gloves haha. Gloves are definitely not my strong point, but I'll get better eventually with more practice! This the fourteenth and final part of my series making Hannah Alexander's Alice in Wonderland design and my research and inspiration are drawn very heavily from mid-Victorian fashion, specifically the 1860s, since that's when Alice in Wonderland was written and what seems to most match Hannah's drawing.
