Hi friends, this video is a combination of orange noise mixed with pink noise. (And a viewer request as well!) These are actually very similar noise sounds, which are both close to brown noises with respect to how bassy they are. That said, I think it's important to note that although my noises all start off as a combination, I normally play around with audio effects and the equalizer until I find something that sounds good to my ears. I gravitate to more bass for sure, and honestly, the naming has more to do with classifying them so people can differentiate them.
I think with any coloured noise, people just find ones that work for them and there's always a lot of variables. Things like what speakers they listen to it on—headphones, computer speakers, and their respective frequency profiles, etc.
For example, this noise in my airpods sounds pretty bassy, whereas on my computer speakers, less so.
So ultimately, I'm just here for the "noise connoisseur" and hoping that if someone finds a noise they like that it helps their brain relax and find some peace through the power of colored noise! 🌸🧡
