Crackpot hall in the most remote Swaledale part of the Yorkshire Dales was once a thriving farmhouse after previously being used for smelt mining. Built in the 1700s, this impressive ruin still has a large collection of clues to its long lost but not forgotten past.
Crackpot Hall is a famous ruin in Swaledale near Keld, on the crossroads of the Coast to Coast and Pennine Way.
