This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever visited in Taiwan. From misty forests and ancient cypress trees to the iconic Alishan Forest Railway and cherry blossoms in full bloom, this journey completely slowed us down.

In this Alishan travel vlog, we begin our day traveling from Taichung to Alishan, visiting the peaceful Longyun Temple, and exploring Fenqihu Old Street, known for its traditional snacks and mountain-town charm. We stop at Fenqihu Railway Station, a key point on Taiwan’s historic mountain railway, before enjoying local Taiwanese food along the way.

As we reach Alishan Forest, the atmosphere changes. Tall cypress trees, cool mountain air, and quiet walking trails make this place feel timeless. We ride the famous Alishan Forest Railway, one of the most scenic train journeys in Asia, passing through forests, curves, and clouds.

Spring brings something extra special — cherry blossoms in Alishan. Walking beneath blooming sakura trees, surrounded by mist and mountains, felt unreal. We continue exploring the Alishan Forest Recreation Area, learn more about the region at the Alishan Museum, and end the day with a peaceful forest train ride through the heart of the mountains.
